Cassandra is an expert in corporate strategy, stakeholder engagement, government relations and internal and external communications. She has assisted private and public sector entities across diverse industries and sectors to develop and implement their corporate, stakeholder and government relations strategies, as well as to design and project manage many business improvement programmes. She is a Prosci certified change manager.

Some of her current and previous consulting clients include UNDP, Microsoft SA, ICASA, SA Communications Forum, DBSA, Business Unity SA, NEDLAC, Oxfam, UNIFEM, DoT, CBRTA, City of Joburg, SARS, Transnet Group, the Eskom Leadership Institute and the Vaal University of Technology, ARA-Sul Mozambique and the
Nyandungu Eco Park, Kigali Rwanda.

She is an excellent communicator and loves training, facilitation and public speaking. She has represented her companies in Parliament and her country in many country bi-laterals, at the UN ITU and the Commonwealth Telecoms Organisation.

Sustainable development and democracy-building have always been close to Cassandra’s heart since she was a community-based activist from a young age. She is dedicated to building and protecting institutions of democracy and empowering marginalised women and disadvantaged communities.

Cassandra has been a Director and Chairperson of Boards since 2003. In 2006 she was appointed as Chairperson of the Universal Service and Access Agency by the Minister of Communications.  She currently serves as a Director of the Institute for Stakeholder Relations Southern Africa - www.stakeholderinstitute.org
